The Ecosystem Engineering team assists partners in solving problems and integrating their products into
VMware’s products. We work across all R&D groups to ensure new hardware/ software products are supported in current and future releases. The View Client team collaborates with the partner ecosystem to enable new hardware solutions and unique integrations that support the proliferation of client endpoint devices. This team is responsible for creating programs and working with partners to enable a wide variety of client end points for our VMware View product. Our partner integrations span thin clients devices, mobile devices and software only solutions.
We are looking for a software developer who has experience with high-volume user-centric products, and who has a track record of successful partner collaboration on technical solutions. Cross-platform experience would be a plus, but demonstrated high-quality results on one platform is more important than broad experience. Our team’s involvement spans a variety of situations, on many different platforms, so an ability to reconcile different sets of requirements (spanning enterprise, consumer, mobile, and thin client) is important.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with partners to solve technical issues with x86, ARM based View client integrations
* Create development kits for integration points based on Linux, Windows, and Android
* Develop flexible, reusable code that can be shared in multiple applications that provide benefits to partners and allow the ecosystem to grow

*10+ years experience of commercial software product development
*Proven track record of technical collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners
