Sr. Product Manager for vCloud Resource Management will Manage vCenter resource management capabilities and features, including Distributed Resource Scheduler, Distributed Power Management, and Storage I/O Control. These are key VMware innovations that drive our differentiation in the virtualization and cloud markets, enabling customers to reduce capex and opex while still meeting performance SLAs. You will be chartered with driving the evolution of these
capabilities for both private and public cloud environments. In this role, you will manage the product life cycle for existing and new product initiatives, work with customers to understand feature requirements, and work with the R&D team to determine the product roadmap enhancements.

• 3+ years of experience in product management, technical marketing, engineering management, sales engineering, or professional services.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
• Understanding the needs, scenarios, and common deployments in the enterprise datacenter, enterprise desktop, or other related computing field is highly desirable
• Travel up to 25%
